D-Man Jordan Hendry To See Action

News

Jordan Hendry will see some ice-time tonight when the Blackhawks host the Canucks at the United Center. All reports are stating that the roster move will be made solely to give him a chance to get some playing time. Brent Sopel, who hasn’t sucked so far, will be a healthy-scratch and ride the pine.

Hendry won’t be the only guy playing his first game for the Blackhawks of the season tonight. Recent waiver claim, Andrew Ebbett, will replace Jack Skille as a fourth-line winger.

and Notes

- Vancouver is still looking for their first road win on the season. Hopefully it won’t happen tonight.

- The day after the Blackhawks historic victory over the Flames, I wrote how much I liked Troy Brouwer’s physical play. He has continued with that style of play since, and I am not the only one impressed with Brouwer. Sam over at Second City Hockey wrote a good entry defending Troy Brouwer’s value.
